devmeldex is a free collection of browser-based developer and productivity tools built for professionals across the United States and United Kingdom. Every tool on this platform runs entirely in your browser — no data is ever uploaded, stored, or processed on a remote server. We believe useful tools should not require you to sacrifice your privacy or pay a subscription.
We built devmeldex to solve a simple problem: most online tools either collect your data, require sign-ups, or hide essential features behind paywalls. Our mission is to provide genuinely useful, production-quality utilities that are free, private, and fast. Whether you are a developer debugging JSON, a marketer building UTM links, or a designer generating Tailwind CSS, our tools are designed to get the job done without friction.
Privacy at devmeldex is not a policy — it is an architectural decision. Our tools use client-side JavaScript libraries and browser APIs (Canvas, FileReader, Web Workers) that execute within your browser's security sandbox. There are no APIs receiving your data. No databases storing your input. The only network activity is loading the page itself. This approach satisfies GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA requirements by design — because there is simply no personal data to protect.
devmeldex is built with Next.js and deployed on Vercel for maximum performance and reliability. We use industry-standard open-source libraries including diff-match-patch (Google), easyqrcodejs, and Faker.js. The site is optimised for Core Web Vitals and loads quickly on any device, including mobile.
devmeldex is maintained by a small team of developers and designers who use these tools daily in their own work. We build what we need, then share it with the community. If you have suggestions for new tools or improvements, we would love to hear from you via our contact page.
We currently offer 10 free tools spanning text comparison, QR code generation, timezone planning, URL building, data formatting, CSS generation, image processing, test data generation, meta tag debugging, and regex testing. Every tool follows the same principles: free, private, and genuinely useful.Browse all tools →
