1. Who We Are

devmeldex ("we," "us," "our") operates the website devmeldex.com and provides free, browser-based developer tools. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our services. Our approach is simple: we do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data through our tools.

2. Our "Local-Only" Architecture

Every tool on devmeldex operates entirely within your web browser. When you use our Diff Checker, QR Generator, JSON Formatter, Image Resizer, or any other tool, the data you input is processed by JavaScript running in your browser's sandboxed environment. No data entered into any tool is transmitted to our servers or any third-party server. We have no server-side processing, no databases storing user input, and no APIs that receive your tool data.

Technical implementation: Our tools use client-side JavaScript libraries (diff-match-patch, easyqrcodejs, @faker-js/faker) and browser APIs (Canvas API, FileReader API) that execute within your browser's security sandbox. Network requests are limited to loading the application's static files (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) — after the page loads, all tool operations are offline-capable.

3. Data We Do Collect

While our tools do not collect data, the following limited data collection occurs through third-party services embedded on our site:

• Google AdSense: If you accept cookies via our consent banner, Google AdSense may set cookies to serve personalised advertisements. Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• Google Analytics (if enabled): We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymised traffic patterns (which pages are visited, how long visitors stay). We use IP anonymisation where available. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Because our tools do not process personal data on our servers, most GDPR obligations relating to data processing do not apply to tool usage.
