By accessing or using devmeldex (devmeldex.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the site. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and devmeldex ("we," "us," "our").
devmeldex provides free, browser-based developer and productivity tools including but not limited to: text comparison (diff checking), QR code generation, timezone visualisation, UTM URL building, JSON/CSV formatting, Tailwind CSS generation, image resizing, dummy data generation, Open Graph previewing, and regular expression testing. All tools operate entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. No tool data is processed on, transmitted to, or stored on our servers.
You agree to use devmeldex only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:
The devmeldex name, logo, site design, and original code are the intellectual property of devmeldex. The tools incorporate open-source libraries (diff-match-patch, easyqrcodejs, @faker-js/faker) used under their respective licences. Output generated by the tools (QR codes, formatted data, resized images, etc.) belongs to you — we claim no ownership over content you create using our tools.
devmeldex is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 for UK users and the Uniform Commercial Code for US users), devmeldex, its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of devmeldex shall not exceed the amount you have paid us for the service — which, as a free service, is £0 / $0.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless devmeldex and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the tools; (b) content you generate using the tools, including QR codes; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.
devmeldex displays advertisements through Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics for anonymised traffic analysis. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of devmeldex at any time without notice. We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest revision was made. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
For users in the United Kingdom: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
For users in the United States: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
For users elsewhere: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
